Luxury Travel Designer of the Year (in-store)

This category is for individual luxury travel designers from any luxury agency or business in the UK & Ireland with at least one retail store. You must be predominantly focused on high-end travel, working in-store and have been in this role for more than two years. Your submission must focus on your own personal sales, and not those of the wider business.

The TTG Luxury team will first shortlist these submissions. Finalists will then be invited to a 30-minute video interview with a TTG team member and supplier partner judges in January 2026.

Luxury Travel Designer of the Year (home-based)

This category is for individual luxury travel designers working in a home-based environment. You can be either a full-time or part-time luxury travel designer, be part of a wider business/a homeworking agency, work completely on your own, or be a specialist e.g. cruise, but you must be predominantly focused on high-end travel, and have been working as a travel designer for more than two years. Your submission must focus on your own personal sales.

The TTG Luxury team will first shortlist these submissions. Finalists will then be invited to a 30-minute video interview with a TTG team member and supplier partner judges in January 2026.

Luxury Travel Designer of the Year (concierge)

This category is for individual luxury travel designers working in a concierge business in the UK & Ireland offering travel services as part of their ‘do anything’ proposition for clients/members. Entrants are likely to work in a business providing a range of services beyond the core holiday essentials, such as other lifestyle services including personal assistance, household management, dining and tickets, exclusive access and more. Companies here might charge a membership fee and are most likely available 24-7. You must have been in this role for more than two years. Your submission must focus on your own personal sales, and not those of the wider business.

New Luxury Travel Designer of the Year

We’re looking for the newest stars of luxury travel, those professionals who are new to luxury travel design/being a luxury travel advisor as a career. You could be from any kind of luxury agency (high street/shopping centre, online or home-based). You must be focused on high-end travel, and scenarios might include you setting up your own business; you might have re-entered the sector after time away and joined an existing luxury agency; come from another sector within travel (eg mainstream travel, hotel, cruise, operator); or be from completely outside travel. Your submission must focus on your own personal sales, and not those of a wider business.

You must have been in this role for LESS THAN TWO YEARS at the time of our awards launching (August 2025). You will therefore have fully started your journey as a luxury travel designer on or after August 2023.

The TTG Luxury team will first shortlist these submissions. Finalists will then be invited to a 30-minute video interview with a TTG team member and supplier partner judges in January 2026.

Luxury Cruise Designer of the Year

This category is for individual luxury travel designers who specialise or do the bulk of their sales in premium, luxury or ultra-luxury cruise. You can be part of any kind of travel agency (high street, online or home-based), but you must be predominantly focused on high-end travel and have been in this role for more than two years. Your submission must focus on your own personal sales across premium, luxury or ultra-luxury cruise, and not those of a wider business you may be a part of.

Responsible Luxury Travel Designer of the Year

This category is for individual luxury travel designers who strive to create holidays with real impact and hold themselves to high account in their approach to travel planning and/or running their own business. "Responsible travel" might include lower-carbon travel, travel that supports local economies and local culture, travel that is accessible to people from all backgrounds and with any special requirements, and positive impact travel that contributes to conservation or preservation efforts, for example.

You can be part of any type of agency (store-based, office, home-based) and need not be a complete specialist in this area in order to enter; we want to celebrate passion and taking the first steps, but whatever the level of your knowledge/focus, you must be predominantly involved in booking high-end travel.

Luxury Hotel Company of the Year (small)

This category is designed to recognise hotel groups with fewer than 25 properties worldwide.

Hotel collections and groups from anywhere in the world are invited to enter, but all properties must be in the luxury segment. Please note, this is for hotel groups, not individual properties.

The winner will be the small luxury hotel group deemed to have best enhanced and shown innovation in product; strengthened its trade partnerships in the UK; shown robust business stability or growth; and demonstrated greater sustainability in its operations.

This category is for premium cruise lines that go above and beyond to look after customers and staff; respond strongly to luxury agents’ needs; innovate in product and brand strategy; and show they strive for sustainable and responsible operations.

To enter this category, brands are likely to offer four-star and above ships and services, with sophisticated dining and décor, on perhaps larger ships with a host of facilities and entertainment, and may offer a suite/luxury-club concept within their ships.

The winner of this category will have provided extraordinary service, knowledge and experiences to clients; shown proven and enhanced support for agents; looked after their own people; maintained innovative levels of product; shown robust business stability or growth; and shown how the business strives and leads when it comes to sustainable operations.

Sustainability Hero of the Year

For this important award, we seek to recognise an individual going above and beyond to drive change in their own business, in the destinations to which they operate or in the luxury travel sector more widely.

Nominees might be a business owner/founder; an employee of a luxury travel provider or retailer in the UK & Ireland; or be based in-destination. They might be responsible for initiatives such as leading and innovating in ESG within a business; pioneering ways or driving the protection of wildlife and biodiversity; supporting local communities in luxury travel destinations; or any other leading approaches to operating responsibly.

Luxury Travel Workplace of the Year

This category is open to any UK or Ireland-based luxury travel or tourism business, including suppliers and retailers, and those that sell direct to consumers as well as through the trade.

We want to spotlight companies perceived to be the best employers based on examples of refreshed or new ways of working; commitment to staff contentment; new ideas on recruitment, retention and workplace environment, or outreach support, if homeworking-based. Luxury travel must be core to your proposition.
